1:1 Personal training and running coaching (in person and remote)
|The Trainer’s Obligations:|
|The trainer will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise to achieve the client’s goals.|
|This will take into account the client’s age, health, lifestyle, background, occupation, personality, fitness levels, likes and dislikes related to exercise.|
|The trainer will endeavour to educate, motivate and inspire the Client to reach these goals.|
|To lead by example and give 100% commitment.|
|To be honest with the client if goals are unattainable.|
|Your trainer may require a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP depending on your health status. (Please be aware that your GP may charge a fee for providing this letter) .|
|Your trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.|
|The Client’s Obligations:|
|Be on time so that a full session can be achieved on each visit. Arrive no less than 5 minutes early to check-in and discuss the previous week’s training.|
|The client is required to wear clothing and footwear which is appropriate & safe for exercise.|
|Clothing should be non-restrictive. Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support.|
|Commit to the programme 100% in order to achieve results.|
|Provide all information needed to achieve goals e.g. food diary, measurements etc.|
|If the trainer requires, provide further medical information from a qualified practitioner.|
|Fee Charging Policy:|
|Individual hourly consultations and sessions are charged at £40 per hour. A 10% discount will be provided upon booking and payment of 2 or more sessions. The discounted cost per session in this instance will be £36 per hour.|
|Payment for these sessions must be made at the time of booking.|
|Long Term Absences – Injury, Illness, Pregnancy & Other:|
|Absences will be dealt with fairly and on an individual basis. Sessions can be used when you are well and able to exercise again.If you are unable to return to the original or an amended version of the training programme after an agreed period of time (6 months or more) the sessions may be transferred to another suitable person or refunded (see “session cancellation policy” below in this situation).|
|Session Cancellation Policy:|
|At least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required for all appointments. In this instance a full refund will be provided.|
|Notice of less than 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the individual hourly charge stated as per the “fee charging policy”.|
|Re-arranging a Session:|
|At least 24 hours’ notice is required to re-arrange a session; this can only be done if the trainer has the availability you need.|
|In the unlikely situation that the trainer is unavailable to re-arrange, the session would either need to be kept or cancelled (the “session cancellation policy” above will apply in this situation).|
|If the client is late for a session, the session cannot be extended and will end at the appointed time. If the trainer is late, additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions.|
If the client arrives more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment, the trainer may leave the meeting point and the appointment may be forfeited. In this instance, the lateness will be considered “notice of less than 24 hours” and the “session cancellation policy” will apply.
If your trainer misses your session without at least 24 hours’ notice you will be credited with an additional session at no charge on top of the missed session.
Online exercise sessions
Anyone wishing to take part in any online exercise and fitness session – whether live or pre-recorded instructional video – must adhere to the following terms:
Anyone taking part in Plega Fit online exercise sessions does so at their own risk.
Joe Watts does not accept any responsibility for any individual nor group of individuals, who may be participating in Plega Fit online exercise sessions.
To take part in Plega Fit online exercise sessions, you must be in good physical health. If you’ve been told on health or medical grounds that you should not take part in physical activity and sport, then you won’t be able to join in with the exercise and fitness sessions.
To perform this activity in a safe way, you must make sure that the area you use is suitable.
The area must be:
- a flat surface
- clear of any obstacles
- spacious enough for the type of activity
By taking part in the exercise and fitness sessions – whether live or pre-recorded instructional video – you agree to the above terms and conditions.
